Shostakovich: Violin Concerto, Op. 99; Cello Concerto, Op. 107
Shostakovich is one of my favorite composers. He is one of the greatest from the 20th century. This is a must have recording of his Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 99 and the Cello Concerto No. 1 in E flat major, Op. 107. The violin concerto is from the 1940s, the cello concerto from 1959.
