Beethoven: Missa Solemnis
Beethoven's Mass in D major, Op. 123 "Missa Solemnis" was first performed in 1824. This is the same year his famous Ninth Symphony was completed. The Mass in D major is a great work by Beethoven and one of my favorite masses. This is a performance by John Eliot Gardiner and the English Baroque Soloists.
